If you are a true IRC fan and want to share your songs you are listening to in Windows Media Player with your IRC friends than this plugin is a must for you. Actually this plugin shows on mIRC (IRC chat client) the media you're playing, whether it is video or audio. This kind of functionality is already available in other popular media players like WinAmp. WMPmIRC is a nice little plugin with a very smooth installation. It is installed within seconds. After installation it is automatically detected by Windows Media Player and can be accessed directly from the Options menu. It is pretty simple to use with some little customization. It provides some nice features, you can easily customize the message you want to show in the mIRC window using a pretty easy set of switches. For example, %S represents media name, %A represents the author and %K represents text color. You can also setup your DDE Server Name, by default it is set to mIRC. It is automatically loaded as soon as you fire up your Windows Media Player.
